Kailyn Cavaluzzo grew up in a small town in New Jersey. Trained as an oil painter, she is focused on exploring the intersection of abstraction and figuration and has extended her practice to include sculpture, performance, video and printmaking. Kailyn has held internship positions in galleries in Bernardsville, New Jersey, and is currently teaching fine art at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. She recently graduated cum laude with her BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). She has shown her work in Bernardsville as well as in exhibitions in Baltimore. She will be featured in the next issue of Studio Visit Magazine, a fine art publication.
